Rashell Bowerman has been an Instructional Consultant with the Michigan Department of Education for over 14 years. As the department’s resident expert on Michigan’s graduation requirements, the Michigan Merit Curriculum (MMC), she supports local districts in ensuring that students are Career and College ready before receiving a diploma. Rashell also supports school districts aiming to improve academic achievement by promoting evidence based practices and competency-based pathways.
